I am amused. (Well,once I figured out you'd not emailed yourself for some reason).
What happened before the email? Was this a "you sad bastard" out of the blue? Sorta like that character in Life, The Universe, and Everything who tired of immortality set about to insult the universe individually in alphabetical order?

Never ceases to astound and amaze me, the effort some of these people put into writing such well-thought and planned intellegent comments, was this a 'bolt out of the blue' or did he place some context around it?
Maybe he just needs a good whipping at the Muir Academy for bad behaviour :)

My dad emailed some guy with his name once to do the "heyyy we have the same name" thing, and had a pleasant email exchange....

Calling you a sad bastard means he deserved everything he got and more.
